Description
Wash Care
- Hand Wash Only: Gently wash the dupatta in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent formulated for delicate fabrics. Avoid soaking it for long periods to protect the natural vegetable dyes.
- Skip the Wring: Do not twist, wring, or scrub the fabric, as handspun cotton and traditional weaves can easily lose their shape or get damaged.
- Dry in Shade: Hang the dupatta flat or line-dry it in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight, which can cause the organic aal and earthy vegetable dyes to fade.
- Iron with Care: Iron the fabric on a low-to-medium cotton setting, preferably while the dupatta is still slightly damp or by placing a thin pressing cloth over it to protect the intricate motifs.
- Dry Cleaning: For long-term preservation of its texture and rich natural colors, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
